Well, now that the majority of the legal filings have been completed with the Georgia Supreme Court regarding
this blatantly illegal, profitable county curbside mandate....the time has come for me to tell you what most likely will happen next!
Knowing the government as I do and its significant fornication with the solid waste industry (if you don't believe
me read the Cumberland case here) and the inter-governmental protection of the "elite", what happens next is extremely predictable.
First prediction is that absolutely nothing will happen to Sullivan Environmental, Inc. They are, more likely than not, all out playing golf together.
Second prediction is that Sullivan will not have to repay the citizens of Georgia one penny of the profits he has made off them.
Third prediction is that if Sullivan is selected as a token boy, he will most likely get slapped with a very
minor fine by the Courts that will never exceed the profit he has reaped off the people:
The defendants' [solid waste industry] risk/benefit analysis proved prescient. Although the defendants did, from time to time, incur multi-million dollar fines and judgments, most penalties were held at or below $1 million.
By contrast, the profits reaped by the defendants and by their key officers as a result of this illegal conduct have been stratospheric.
(quoted in the Cumberland case).
This "fine" will be paid by you, the taxpayer (thank you very much for your
contribution).
Fourth prediction is that the solid waste industry has a habit of not caring about who they tell on, it has little affect on them if they do. To them it really
isn't about money, it's about control and the power of the game. The money is merely a scale to weigh such power.
"Indeed, the evidence of defendants' wrongdoing, much of it admitted by defendants..."
(quoted in the Cumberland case).
Fifth prediction is that taxpayers due a refund for the direct payment to Sullivan (since this is an illegal tax and State Law demands
citizens be repaid as such), will not be paid by Sullivan, but you, the taxpayer (paying your own refund).
Now, listen very closely to how the government does things.
Fact one is that the government always sets up a fall guy.
Fact two is that the majority of the time, the fall guy doesn't know he has been selected
Fact three is that everyone else involved knows who the fall guy is except the unsuspecting fall guy. They would never tell the fall guy because they would make themselves
a target if they do.
From what I have been told (and I'd certainly would like to verify with a second source), Long County history provides this tactic has been used before. A prior county official was hunted down by the FBI and guess what...the guy died before they could "catch him."

There is one county commissioner not in the picture because I do not believe she is
"part of the picture". There is also someone not in the picture who is a very big part of the picture.

Of course we
all know how very crafty this person is as the board works exclusively for him. Little do they realize, he has set them
up to be his little choggies who have willing placed themselves in the legal lime light while he has cleverly hidden his
face from any light.
We are all well aware that this person has extensive law enforcement ties.
Now, you select the fall guy above.
Let's see, my prediction is it's the one that foolishly testified at the trial court (being the only Commissioner selected to do so), has a heart problem and
has signed his name on every shred of evidence, including county minutes. In the military, they would call this guy "expendable".
Fact of life: If a person will lie to someone else, they will lie to you. If a person will deceive another, they will deceive you.
Oh well, you know the old law enforcement saying....
First one to federal immunity is the only one that gets it.
Oh, and yes, I did invite the local FBI office to attend the Superior Court trial case held on June 16, 2003 (and I quote myself), "to see if the judge is in on this."
I recently sent the Atlanta FBI this letter (certified) and all the evidence and briefs of the court proceedings filed in the
Georgia Supreme Court. Of course I have blotted out a lot of it...can't give ALL my secrets away (just yet).
And the final fact....local governments are not automatically and always immune to anti-trust violations.
